COLUMBIA - University of Missouri Police are thanking the public for help locating a man who went missing while being transported near University Hospital Wednesday. 

MUPD had said 43-year-old Jeffery Bloomquist "could be dangerous." He was being taken from an MU Health Care facility to a nursing home in Moberly when he disappeared.

MUPD did not say where, when or how Bloomquist was found.
