    ST. LOUIS — Four St. Louis police officers were shot and injured during violent protests in the city Monday night and into early Tuesday morning.

    Two of the officers were shot in the leg, one was shot in the foot and the fourth officer was shot in the arm, St. Louis Police Chief John Hayden told reporters outside a hospital at about 2 a.m. Tuesday.

    CAMDEN COUNTY - One person from Camdenton was killed Tuesday morning in a crash on US Highway 54 in Camden County.

    According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report, 22-year-old Alexander Mustain was driving westbound near Route A. Mustain drove his car off the right side of the roadway, struck a rock bluff and overturned.

    (CNN) - The police chief of Louisville, Kentucky, has been fired after officials discovered two police officers involved in fatal shooting of a man during a protest over George Floyd's death had not activated their body cameras.

    "This type of institutional failure will not be tolerated," Louisville Mayor Greg Fischer said on Monday. "Accordingly, I have relieved Steve Conrad of his duties as chief of Louisville Metro Police Department (LMPD)."

    COLUMBIA - Protestors continued to gather downtown Columbia after the sun went down Monday night. 

    The group of about 100 to 150 people moved to different locations downtown from Broadway and Providence to outside the Columbia Police Department.

    JEFFERSON CITY - Several hundred protestors gathered at the Missouri State Capitol Monday to honor the death of George Floyd. Protestors came from all over the state, demanding justice.

    Around 30 members of the National Guard stood on the front lawn of the Missouri State Capitol.

    COLUMBIA - Many camps are choosing to go virtual this year so that parents can still give their children an educational and active summer. Tryps, a theater camp is choosing to have an online platform as well via Zoom.

    Executive artistic director, Jill Womack said she felt it was too soon to try to bring everyone back together at Stephens College where the camp is usually ran.

    COLUMBIA - UM System President and MU Interim Chancellor Mun Choi on Monday "condemned recent acts of racism around our country and shared our commitment to our values of inclusion and respect."

    The statement comes on the heels of a Snapchat video that was widely criticized on social media as mocking the death of George Floyd, the Columbia Missourian reported Friday.

    COLUMBIA - At 1:50 a.m. on May 31, Columbia Police officers responded to a shots fired call on the 400 block of Circus Avenue, according to a press release.

    After officers arrived, they located several shell casings that would indicate that shots were fired. The release said a vehicle was damaged but no injuries had been reported.
