    ST. LOUIS - Professional football returned to St. Louis with a bang on Sunday afternoon, as the Battlehawks dominated the New York Guardians and emerged from The Dome at America's Center with a 29-9 victory.

    The Battlehawks built a 23-3 lead in the first half, which was fueled by big plays on special teams. Wide receiver Keith Mumphrey fielded a kickoff in the second quarter, ran to the left and pitched it to safety Joe Powell, who had peeled off from the blockers and was running right with all kinds of room in front of him.

    COLUMBIA - Missouri women's basketball honored its four seniors - Amber Smith, Hannah Schuchts, Jordan Chavis, and Jordan Roundtree - with a blowout win over Ole Miss on Sunday afternoon at Mizzou Arena.

    The Tigers jumped out to a dominant defensive start, allowing only six points in the first quarter and 16 in the first half. Their offense took over from there with 45 points in the second half, squashing any attempt at a comeback.

    CORPUS CHRISTI, TX - Missouri baseball came back from a 4-0 deficit in the third inning to dispatch Texas A&M - Corpus Christi 8-4.

    The Tigers finished the Kleberg Bank College Classic in Corpus Christi with two wins and one loss, moving their overall record to 4-2. They fell to Kansas State 5-1 on Friday but picked up back-to-back wins over Utah and Texas A&M - Corpus Christi on Saturday and Sunday.

    LINN - A lot of the times it's hard to know the affect you'll have on someone until after it's all said and done, but one Linn basketball player made an immediate impact in his final season.

    Linn High School's Chris Kmiec loves sports, specifically basketball. The senior, who has autism, managed the Wildcats for three years before joining in on the action.

    ST. LOUIS - The Battlehawks brought the first professional win to St. Louis since 2015 in a 29-9 blowout victory over the New York Guardians on Sunday.

    St. Louis came soaring out of the gates, with Christine Michael flying through the defense for an opening drive touchdown.

    CATHEDRAL CITY - After winning both games on Saturday, Mizzou looked to take three games in two days, but lost to Seattle University 3-1.

    The Tigers fell behind early, as Bailey Thompson hit a three-run home run for the Redhawks in the first inning to take an early 3-0.

    COLUMBIA, MO - The Missouri Tigers hosted the Missouri Collegiate Challenge in track and field on Saturday. The Tigers finished with seven individual first place awards and a first place team award.

    Sophomore Morgan O'Neal placed first in the Women's 200m Dash with a time of 25.54 seconds.

    CATHEDRAL CITY, CA - The 18th ranked Missouri Tigers Softball took on the New Mexico Lobos in the first game of a Saturday double header.

    The Tigers came in looking to bounce back after losing four of the last five games. Missouri's pitching and hitting took center stage as the fielding quietly held the Lobos scoreless. The Tigers defeated the Lobos 5-0.
