    COLUMBIA - After keeping the game somewhat close, Mizzou dug too deep of a hole in the third, and were unable to comeback in a 75-67 loss to Florida.

    The Tigers went into the second quarter down only four points, and into halftime down seven. They came out of the half looking to get hot, but they slowly fell further behind.

    JACKSONVILLE, Ala. - Mizzou baseball was unable to complete the sweep in an 9-8 loss to Jacksonville State on Sunday.

    The Tigers took a early one-run lead to start the game, but the Gamecocks responded instantly with five runs of their own.

    CLEARWATER - After a 9-0 start to the season, No. 19 Mizzou softball lost two straight to No. 20 James Madison and No. 14 Minnesota.

    The Tigers had a lead in extra innings versus the Dukes, but they gave up three to drop their first game of the season 8-7.

    COLUMBIA — Craziness in Columbia saw Tiger tails thrown from the stands, an Auburn player ejected, and a technical foul on a coach. When the dust settled it was Missouri pulling off the 85-73 upset against the 11th ranked team in the nation, the Auburn Tigers.

    Xavier Pinson and Dru Smith scored 28 points each, leading the way for Missouri. Kobe Brown also has a solid outing with 10 points and nine rebounds.

    JACKSONVILLE, AL - The University of Missouri Tigers baseball team defeated the Jacksonville State University Gamecocks in extra innings on Saturday, 6-4.

    Mizzou got off to a hot start, bringing in two runs in the first inning. Mark Vierling and Chad McDaniel both scored for the Tigers.

    ST. LOUIS, MO - The St. Louis Blues fell to the Nashville Predators on Saturday, 4-3.

    It was a bleak start for the Blues as they let up two goals in the first period. Viktor Arvidsson had the first goal of the day for the Predators after six and a half minutes. A few minutes later, Matt Duchene scored once again for Nashville.

    BELLEVILLE, IL - The Columbia College Cougars Men's team defeated the Lindenwood-Belleville Lynx on Saturday, 77-66.

    Columbia College took a ten point lead in the first half behind a strong offensive performance. The Cougars led 37-27 at halftime.

    BELLEVILLE, IL - The No. 15 Columbia College Cougars defeated the Lindenwood-Belleville University Lynx on Saturday, 60-57. The Cougars improve to 21-5 on the season.

    It was a very close defensive battle throughout as neither team scored more than 20 points in a single quarter. This is the lowest amount of points Columbia College has put up in a win.

    CLEARWATER, FL - The No. 18 ranked University of Missouri softball team defeated Virginia Tech in a 6-5 comeback on Saturday. The Tigers extend their undefeated streak to nine games.

    Mizzou was down 5-0 at the bottom of the fifth inning when they stepped up to bat. The Tigers scored five runs, including back to back home runs by Cayla Kessinger and Megan Moll, and tied the game in the fifth. Brooke Wilmes had the game winning RBI in the sixth inning for the Tigers.

    CLEARWATER, Fla. - Mizzou Softball was victorious in back to back games against Liberty University and Oklahoma State on Friday afternoon, beating LU 5-4 and OSU 3-2. 

    Sophomore Jazmyn Rollin led the offense during the 1:30 P.M game facing Liberty, going 2-3 at bat. Mizzou went up by two unanswered runs in the 6th inning and fought through the 7th with Liberty scoring three and Mizzou firing back with two more.
