Blues try for 3-1 series lead Tuesday against Jets
ST LOUIS – The Blues will be looking to bounce back in game four of their series against the Winnipeg Jets Tuesday.
St. Louis is hoping to buck the trend of road team victories, and become the first team in this series to defend its home ice. After stealing the first two games on the road in Winnipeg, the Blues failed to take a 3-0 series lead at home, losing 6-3.
If they want to take a decisive 3-1 lead, the Note will need to contain Kyle Conner better. The Winnipeg winger scored twice in game three. They will also hope their own star winger can get going. Vladimir Tarasenko’s lone point in the series came on the power play late in game three.
Goaltender Jordan Binnington will also be looking for a stronger showing. The six goals allowed on Sunday were the most given up in a game since becoming the starter in January.
Puck drop for Game 4 is slated for 8:30 PM Tuesday.
