Mizzou soccer defeats Nothern Colorado in overtime
COLUMBIA - Mizzou snapped a two-game losing skid, as they defeated Northern Colorado in overtime fashion 2-1 on Sunday.
The Tigers began the scoring after Jadyn Easley put in a beautiful cross right to Skye Kingsley's feet for an easy goal.
The Bears responded with a goal 13 minutes later to bring it to 1-1 going into the half.
The game went into overtime after a silent second half, and that's when Mizzou struck. Grace Kitts buried a shot into the upper-right corner in overtime to bring home the win for the Tigers.
The win brought the Tigers to (6-2-0), while Northern Colorado drops to (2-6-1).
The Tigers will begin conference play on Friday against Ole Miss in Oxford at 7 P.M.
