JEFFERSON CITY- Missouri Auditor Nicole Galloway launched an audit of the government of Camden County Tuesday.

She said it will help the county work more efficiently to serve its residents.

"This will be a comprehensive audit to review county operations and practices to find any areas where Camden County can make improvements to better serve the public," Galloway said in a press release.

Galloway said people with information for the audit can take part.

"Citizen input can be very beneficial to these audits, and I encourage residents who have information that may be helpful to contact our Whistleblower Hotline." Galloway said.

Anyone with information can contact the office on its website or by calling 800-347-8597.
