Woman arrested in connection with fatal crash in Camden County
CAMDEN COUNTY - A Kansas City woman has been arrested in connection with a fatal car crash in Camden County that killed a Camdenton woman Saturday afternoon.
According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol arrest report, Delilah Taylor, 42, was arrested on suspicion of second-degree murder, driving with a revoked license, failure to drive on the right half of the roadway resulting in the accident, not wearing a seatbelt and tampering.
According to a crash report from the MSHP, Taylor was driving her 2008 Ford Focus on Route D when she crossed the center line and collided head-on with a 2014 Chevrolet Equinox.
The driver of the Equinox, 26-year-old Lauren Rubi, was later pronounced dead at the hospital.
Taylor was also transported to the hospital with serious injuries.
