Tropical moisture from the remnants of tropical depression Imelda (currently in NE Texas) will move into Missouri and integrate with a stalled frontal boundary over Missouri. This will give us off and on showers and thunderstorms through the day. There will be plenty of dry time through the day. Highs in the lower 80s.

More organized showers and thunderstorms will move in overnight and heavy rain may be possible at times.

SUNDAY

Mostly cloudy and muggy with widespread showers and thunderstorms expected along a slowly moving cold front. This rain may be heavy at times. Highs in the 70s.

Total rainfall (including rainfall from Friday and Saturday) will be a widespread 1-2" with locally higher amounts of up to 4+" possible.

MONDAY

A few morning showers are possible, but overall the day is mainly dry with increasing sunshine. Highs in the upper 70s.
