First Alert Forecast
Showers and thunderstorms are likely tonight as a warm front moves through the region. A strong storm or two is possible, but widespread severe weather is not expected. Thunderstorm activity will become much more scattered after midnight as the potential for any stronger storms diminishes.
A few sprinkles are possible for Monday morning, but better chances of isolated showers and thunderstorms will arrive for the afternoon. Keep the umbrella handy, but you won't need it all day as we will have plenty of dry time. Highs will top out in the lower 80s under mostly cloudy skies. Showers will start to come to an end Monday night as a cold front passes through the region setting us up for mild remainder of the week ahead.
Tuesday Through Thursday we will see increasing sunshine with top temperatures in the lower 80s along with low humidity. Overnight temperatures will dip into the lower 60s and even the upper 50s for some of the rural areas.
Our next chance of rain arrives on Friday as a warming trend begins. Highs will be back into the middle 80s with partly sunny skies and passing showers possible. Temperatures will continue to heat up through the weekend with highs back in the upper 80s and lower 90s.
